Fire Emergencies
Protection of our tenants, employees and the building is always our priority. This section provides valuable information to ensure maximum protection for Tenant’s employees. It should be read carefully by the managers and designated Evacuation Team (Fire Warden and Deputy Fire Warden) in Tenant’s office.
- Pull the fire alarm on your floor
- Evacuate your office following the instructions of your Evacuation Team
- Close doors behind you as you leave
- Use the stairs to exit your floors (do not use elevators)
- Be quiet so directions and instructions can be heard
- Stay calm, do not run
- Stay in single file and keep to the right
- Call the Fire Department or 911
- Do not stop and return for any reason unless otherwise instructed by your Evacuation Team or the Fire Department
- Call the Police (911), be prepared to provide the building address, floor or suite and the severity of illness
- Call the Engineer’s Office or Lobby Desk in order to bring necessary elevator to the lobby, meet the emergency crew and escort them to the appropriate area.
- Police will automatically make arrangements to take the patient to the nearest medical facility.
